Perth Tour
The three-hour Perth highlight tour is a viewing of the city’s local attractions and historical points of interest.
The Perth tour
commences at 9am from the Wellington Street tourist bus stand taking in
the city’s north featuring the old railway station and St Mary’s
Cathedral.
Traveling east we pass Gloucester Park trotting
circuit, the WACA cricket ground and the redevelopment of East Perth
and onto Langley Park in the south.
Taking
the Causeway Bridge along the Swan river, the tour stops for 20-minutes
at the beautiful gardens and historical monuments of Burswood Park, an
ideal opportunity for some nature shots in the picturesque gardens.
Back over the bridge and down Hay Street past the Perth Mint then onto
St Georges Terrace the coach captain will point out Government House,
Barracks Arch and Parliament House. It is then onto King’s Park on the
city’s western edge. During the 30 minute stop at King’s Park you can
enjoy the tree top walk, view the historical monuments and statues and
take in the panoramic views of the city in the near to the Darling
Ranges in the distance.
From
the relative tranquility of Kings Park the tour travels to Perth’s
nightlife hub Northbridge just over the railway tracks. The tree-lined
streets are renowned for the alfresco dining in the cafes, award
winning restaurants and the exciting nightlife. Back into the city over
the Horseshoe Bridge the coach passes His Majesty’s Theatre and the
boutique Melbourne Hotel on Hay St. The tour then takes a one-hour
break at the bus stand on Wellington St. where the coach captain can
assist on the best places to enjoy lunch.
Fremantle Tour
The four-hour highlight of Fremantle tour heads out of Perth along William
street down to the Swan River and along the Esplanade.
Heading
out of the city, the coach will pass the Bell Tower, the new Perth Convention
Centre, the Old Swan Brewery, University of WA and Methodist Ladies College.
On arrival at Monument Hill in Fremantle, the tour will stop for 10 minutes,
for photo opportunities of the magnificent ocean and harbour views. Back onto
the coach and through the heart of the bustling city of Fremantle, the coach
will pass the Old Fremantle Prison, Scott’s Church, Little Creatures Brewery,
Fisherman’s Wharf, the Roundhouse and Fremantle Harbour.
Passengers
then have a 90-minute break to discover the character and charm of Fremantle.
You would be well advised to venture to South Terrace and enjoy a freshly made
coffee on Fremantle’s famous coffee strip. The coach departs at 4pm to follow
the coastline of the Indian Ocean passing the popular beaches of Cottesloe and
Leighton. The tour then deviates inland through the exclusive residential suburbs
of Dalkeith, Nedlands and Peppermint Grove. Finishing at 5pm in Perth, the coach
captain will drop you at your accommodation, concluding the Fremantle to Perth
